Mrs Cheshire, awarded significant compensation after being hit by a bus whilst crossing the road
Mrs Cheshire, from Penllwyn in Gwent, was crossing the road during the day when she was badly injured.
She had just stepped off a traffic island to complete crossing the road when she was hit by a bus.
The bus came from the left and had failed to notice her, fracturing her skull. She was taken to a nearby hospital to undergo a scan which revealed bleeding on the brain. Still suffering from the accident, Mrs Cheshire has lost her sense of smell and taste.
Mrs Cheshire instructed her son to search for a no win, no fee company and after a few calls they decided to use First4Lawyers, convinced by the helpfulness of the first person they spoke to at the company. First4Lawyers then put Mrs Cheshire in touch with a specialist lawyer to handle her claim.
Mrs Cheshire said: “The first person we spoke to at First4lawyers was so helpful and explained everything clearly to us. This gave me confidence that they would do all they could to help me. The solicitor assigned to my case was superb.
“I was delighted with the service from start to finish and would recommend them to anybody who finds themselves in a similar situation.”
