Miss Thorpe Awarded £1,000 for Supermarket Accident

Miss Thorpe contacted us after she was the victim of an accident at a supermarket, injuring her fingers on some broken glass.

Miss Thorpe was on maternity leave at the time of the accident and told us that the injury impacted her day-to-day life dramatically. Her daughter was only eight weeks old and having her fingers strapped up to heal made caring for her very difficult.

She also explained that she was shocked when the accident took place as the supermarket didn’t seem to help her very much.

As a result of the accident, Miss Thorpe was affected for over a month, all the while struggling to take care of her new-born daughter. Changing her nappy, bathing and feeding her became extremely challenging.

She then searched for advice on making a claim online and came across our services. Miss Thorpe decided to contact First4Lawyers for help after she read our positive online reviews. After an initial conversation, our experienced claims team were able to pass her case to one of our specialist personal injury solicitors.

Miss Thorpe’s solicitor went on to put a strong case together and she was awarded £1,000 for her injuries.

Looking back on her time speaking with First4Lawyers, Miss Thorpe said: “My experience was great. I was contacted very promptly and given all the advice needed straight away. I would definitely recommend them.”
