£1,500 awarded to Mr Walsh

Groin injuries

Published, September 11, 2018

Mr Walsh was approaching a security barrier, a routine activity that ordinarily wouldn’t pose a danger to a person.

However, when he stopped at the barrier, a security guard opened it into Mr Walsh. He was left with injuries to his groin – a problem he should not have to had to deal with.

The incident not only caused Mr Walsh significant pain, it has also left him suffering from anxiety. He explained: “I am very cautious of security barriers and I get very anxious approaching them at train stations or anywhere else they are operated.”

After deciding that he wanted to obtain justice for what had happened to him, Mr Walsh went online to look for a solicitor to represent him. He found First4Lawyers and got in touch.

We took some initial details about the accident he had suffered and established that he was eligible to make a claim for compensation. We put him in touch with one of our specialist solicitors, who agreed with our assessment.

His solicitor presented Mr Walsh’s claim for compensation on a no win no fee* basis, which reassured him that he wouldn’t have to pay anything upfront or if his claim was not successful.
